    Currently defaults to pointing downward. This is with drums / percussion in mind. I think it’s different for melodic instruments if the split is at middle C. But there is no way to set a default otherwise.

    Mike,

    It seems this works per session but not a setting I can make without having to reset the next time I open Encore…? Not the worst thing in the world.
