    I hope that the newest version will be released but I only hope the encore5 working on OS 10.14 or higher.
    I have a serial no. of encore5 that I got with upgrade.

    Encore 5 does run on Mojave (macOS 10.14)! It is the one and only reason why I keep an ancient (2012) Mac Mini next to my Mac Studio. The later versions (Catalina 10.15 and higher) won’t let you run Encore.

    Thanks for reply. According to you, it has to run on Mojave and it can run on my Mojave Mac. But, there is no way to do authorization, Encore5 is running but I can’t save files, print scores. I ask about this problem to Passport music, they treat me kindly and interaction mails but can’t find the solution. Now I use Encore on my old Macbook with OS 10.6. I like it, but I’m really looking forward to seeing Encore6. Finale has been over it should be chance for releasing…

    What do you mean by “no way to do authorization” ? Encore (version 5.0.7.8M) runs on my Mac (Mojave 10.14.6) and I can freely save (new and existing files) and print (paper or PDF)…

    I’m not very knowledgeable about the Mac version but it looks like you are in demo mode, meaning your Encore version is not unlocked.
    Do you have your unlock key?
    What appears when you press the “Help” button and then “About Encore”?

    There are two versions of the last build of Encore 5.

    There is a demo version of Encore 5 cannot be unlocked—weird but true. The shipping version can be unlocked with your serial number but runs in demo mode otherwise. In About…
    It is 5.0.6 m1333 (or something like that).

    Both Andre and I have copies of this correct version. It runs best on any 2012-2018 model Mac booted into Mojave. There are GUI problems in High Sierra and earlier that cannot be fixed.

    Sorry, I’m not good at English.
    I meant ‘no way to do authorization’ was …I couldn’t authorization. I have a serial key, try to authorize however it couldn’t be.

    On Sierra or lower OS, I could authorize Encore5 with same serial key. Yes, this was a Demo version but it could be run on the old Mac.

    However, I had to update to Catalina or higher OS, I use the Encore5 on my old Macbook with 10.6 OS. That is the best way to make music chart for me.

    If the model year of your Mac is 2012–2018, you can add an APFS Volume in Disk Utility and install Mojave. This is the best way to run Encore 5.0.7.

    Apple has support documents on how to do this and a Mojave Installer can still be downloaded from the App Store.

    Add, delete, or erase APFS volumes in Disk Utility on Mac

    APFS Volumes are similar to Partitions but they share empty drive space and are much easier to create and delete.
