It’s quite reasonable to be looking forward to Encore 6, since Encore 5 is now quite old, and wasn’t in a so good health when it stopped being supported…
But I haven’t seen that Windows 11 would not run 32-bit applications. Encore 504 runs in Win11, it even installs. Even Encore 455 runs in W11, but I’m not sure I ever tried to install it.
I work under Windows7 with Encore without any problems.
I found the following on the internet for Windows 11: Programs that depend on 16-bit binaries or 32-bit drivers cannot run on the 64-bit versions of Windows unless the program manufacturer provides an update for the program.
You can check whether your operating system is a 32-bit or 64-bit system: Select “Start” and “Settings”. Select System . Select About . Check under “Device specifications” and “System type” whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.
