Hi / Not sure if my list of hopeful improvements in MTP (for Mac), submitted a long time ago to the previous owners/developers, was ever seen by the new owner. These include:
      1. Scalable interface, both horizontally and vertically, including independently set size of icons, track height, fonts etc. (as orig MTP up to 6.3x only fitted an 800×600 pixel window (or smaller) and everything looked tiny or blurry (if scaled up) on a larger monitor.
      2. Saving of custom patch maps, including working MSB and LLB settings (as 6.3x appeared to save custom maps but you couldn’t import them and overwrite the empty 128 grid – meaning often hours of work naming and configuring patches for some sound modules were lost). As a consequence, you could often only interact with one basic external 16 channel GM sound module and not ones with more complex or unique samples control triggers.
      3. It would be wonderful to have a ‘quantise to tap’ feature eg. creating a tap map for virtual bar lines and for the note on’s and off’s to automatically scale between them – as this would save hours of manually scaling selected regions of sequences to coincide with time signatures for converting midi to notation.

I look forward to purchasing a new, modern MTPro (for macOS too, please). I’m one of the many baby boomers who composed and edited on MTPro 20-30 years ago and can’t move on to learning sequence creation and editing on some DAW app. I honestly don’t think any can do exactly what MTPro could.

      Many thanks,
      Philip S (NZ)
