Just joining in order to stay tuned on the future release of Master Tracks “Next Generation”.

I was introduced to Master Tracks in 1990 at a junior college, always intrigued by the address on the launch screen, and now I live in Half Moon Bay!!

I used Master Tracks to compose nearly 30 songs for a multimedia production in the 90’s.
I have purchased several Mac OS 7 and 8 and 9 devices over the years to try and keep the sequencing alive.

One issue I still have is the old Apple midi manager doesn’t always seem to communicate well with Master Tracks and various external midi components (keyboards, modules). Soooooo many reboots and freezes…

Anyway, can’t wait for a Master Tracks that works with post-OS 9 machines.

      My wishlist:
      1. Assuming there will be some new bells and whistles, maybe include a “classic” mode that resembles the original as much as possible: it is so elegant. (love that era of software design….)
      2. Please don’t start at Mac OS 15… 🙂 I’m sure many users like me have great working MacBooks etc. that still run various versions of OS 10. Maybe can’t hope for that, but how far back in OS-land do you plan to make this compatible?
      3. If possible, please include as many vintage/classic synth device files as possible (i.e. Korg M1 and X5DR, Roland and EMU modules, etc.).

      Warm Regards,
      Myrios
