This week I installed Kubuntu 22.04 on my laptop. I have been able to use version 6.8.3 of MasterTracks Pro via the Wine app, which is a Windows emulator. I am able to use multiple USB MIDI ports without any problems.
The main issue I ran into was saving files in the .mts format, as Linux sees this as a video file format and as a result, any saved work comes up as an empty file. However, saving in the .mid format works just fine.
I was able to open .mts files though from the sample file folder. So, if you have old .mts files, they will likely open as well. You simply cannot create new .mts files and save them.
