I have an Encore 5.0.4 Program with Serial Number:

I have been used it with a PC version but now I’m working with a Mac computer and I would like to know what I have to do for get a Mac version.
Thank youI never saw an Encore 5 CD. In any case, Passport/GVOX/Passport Designs, the company that released Encore 5, is dead and there are no legitimate download sites for any version. Passport Music, the new company developing Encore 6 does not offer older versions for sale or download.
That said, it can be found the last I looked. You are looking for the final build of 5.0.7. When open and you click on About Encore, it will display as 5.0.6 1303m.I do not know if your current serial number opens the Mac version but it might. 5.0.6 1303m runs quite well over MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave but will not run over Catalina or later.
Mike, I am using MOS X Yosemite version 10.10.5 My version of Encore, the last release, 5.0.6 1303m works well. It will crash. Do you think MOS X Mojave 10.14.6 is a better more stable platform?
I’m using Encore version 5.0.7.8M on a Mac running Mojave 10.14.6 and don’t experience that much crashes. I’d say it’s quite a stable version so far, although I’m not using it too often these days (and I’d love to see version 6 someday!)

The full installer is 73.7MB, too big for email. I have emailed a download link to you. As I have posted, this works best over MacOS 10.14 Mojave and should show version 5.0.6 1303m in the “About Encore” window.
There are a number of download links online but those are for the demo or older versions.

A while back, Jennifer Brazinski (Passport Music Software) sent me a link to download Encore 5.0.7 full install, to use on my new iMac. I never downloaded it, I just kept using 5.0.6 on a laptop. Now I NEED to download 5.0.7 installer but the link no longer works and Jennifer didn’t answer my e-mail, nor did I get a reply from [email protected]
Can anyone help me out by sending me the installer, or perhaps a dropbox link?
I’m getting desperate to open some archived Encore documents. The laptop died and now I only have my iMac. Encore 5.0.6 won’t run on the iMac (Monterey 12.6.8).Please help. Please?
Thanks very much.The 5.0.7 update won’t help. Encore 5.x will not run on Monterey. The latest possible version is Mojave, Encore 5 being a 32-bit application… Too bad, you’ll have to wait a couple of weeks now.
Thank you for the advice Bernard. I have an external drive that has Mojave OS. I could run Encore 5.0.7 on that drive.
Do you have a link, or the installer?
I installed the 5.0.7 demo version, then entered the activation key that Jennifer Brazinski sent me, but Encore would not exit the demo mode. Apparently, I need the full install version for that key to work.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Running 5.0.7 from a Mojave boot drive works well. Andre has the full installer plus some support docs that I forwarded to him.
For best results, it’s important that all older versions be removed, especially fonts from the Users/(user)/Library/Fonts. The 5.0.7 installer does not remove fonts from that directory. Encore fonts should only reside in HD/Library/Fonts.
