    Hello!

I have been using Encore since 1995 (version 3.0) and still run version 4.5.5 on Windows 10. I own licenses for versions 4.5.5 and 5.0 and my employer also owns licenses for those versions. I also have licenses for MasterTracks Pro for the pre-GVOX and GVOX versions, as does my employer. I mostly do choir charts, lead sheets, and chord charts. I still use 4.5.5 because, for me, 5.0 is harder to use.

My question for anybody is, are you able to run Encore 4.5.5 and/or 5.0 (and MasterTracks Pro versions) on Windows 11? I haven’t upgraded my personal computers to Windows 11 (only one of my laptops is compatible with Windows 11) and my work computer is still Windows 10. Microsoft has been pretty good about keeping newer Windows versions able to run older software, but there have been times (particularly with moving to 64-bit machines) where it just didn’t happen.

Thanks for your help. I too am looking forward to Encore 6!

    God bless!

    Geoffrey

Geoffrey, I found a copy of Encore 455 on a backup disk.

I could open a couple a score, make some edition, both on Windows 10 and Windows 11.

However, printing works on Windows 10 but not on Windows 11!
