      Hi,

      I’m working with a music score that I saved on my computer. When I tried to open it, an error message appeared saying: “C:\xxxx.enc could not be loaded because the file version isn’t supported.” I’m requesting your support to correct the attached file because I spent many hours working on it, and I need to send it to the musicians tomorrow morning.

      Please, I sincerely ask for your help with this.

          If you look at the file with a hex editor – check to see if it starts with “PDF” near the top. Sometimes when I save a PDF and the ENC file when I’m exporting a PDF I’ll accidentally click on the .enc file and will overwrite the encore file with a PDF. I don’t think it ends up making originalfilename.enc.PDF – I think it’ll just make a PDF with the filename: originalfilename.enc

          Just something to check. Because this would be one way to corrupt the score.
