      I would like to purchase Encore 6 when it is available along with my partners in music but i am scared because i cannot see the instrument settings in “Encore 5.
      Can i have a link to download in order to get back the Midi Device Instrument settings please??

        Tony,
        I answered some of your other posts on this matter, asking for the encore file (or one of them) and a screen shot.
        When I have your userid, I can send you a link, but there is no other good downloadable level than 504-875. I don’t think anybody else has this problem.

        Furthermore, the risk that the same problem shows up again with E6, when avalable, is extremely low, since the E6 is expected to have essentially new code.

          yes sorry sir. I don’t know how to screen shot but a technician is coming to do it or show me how it is done. I am thankful to you for the information about E6. So as soon the technician gets here it would be done. Thanks.

              Under “Programs (x86)” you will find the program folder “Encore-5.0.4”. If you open this folder, you will see various subfolders. Among them there must also be a folder called “Device”. All MIDI instruments should be stored here.
              If this is not the case, I can send you a link where you can find all the instruments. Simply open the downloaded ZIP file and copy the contents into the “Device” folder under Encore-xxx. If there is no device folder, please create one first. The instruments should now appear.

                Sir, There is a Device folder in Encore folder. I reinstalled the folder and also copy and paste. Nothing happened. I tried my best to do as you suggested. This is hurting my head so i will wait until E6 is available and purchase it. Thanks for you precious help sir.

                  Tony, the folder must be called “Devices” and not “Device”. An “s” can make all the difference…

                    Yes Toni, the folder must be called “Devices”.
                    In my excitement, I hadn’t looked closely.

                      Yes sir the word is Devices where you can see all the names of the instruments. That is already place there in the E5 folder…. Thanks // still nothing is showing up in E5
                      I am getting tired so as I said that i will wait untill E6 is ready to be purchased and do likewise.;; Thanks sir.
