That ‘Coming Late Fall 2022’ is now approaching Spring 2023 and here we all are waiting for…anything from Passport. We understand that all of you are busy working on this, but some kind of info now months past your expected Release Date would be welcome.

A lot of people here are excited about the rebirth of Passport Designs. Don’t let that excitement slip away…!

Just my $0.02 here. Thanks for listening.

‘Winter 2023’ has moved well into Spring 2024. As I said above we’ve been here before…

My excitement has slipped away after years of waiting, and this is reminding me of the later days trying to get updates to MTP 6 and the GVox debacle.

    Good luck everyone!

The long wait is really hard to bear. But let’s be honest, MTP is simply THE sequencer software par excellence. I’ve tried a few sequencers from other manufacturers but none of them have convinced me yet. I write and/or arrange MIDI files as accompaniment for our band or refine files created in Band-in-a-Box. This is easier in MTP than in BiaB.
The current MTP version 6.8.4 runs on Windows 7/10/11, but also has a few quirks. My old MTP version 6.01 runs the most stable, but unfortunately only up to Windows 98. I have installed this on an old laptop and I also work with MTP here.
I would also prefer to be able to work with a modern MTP 6 on modern machines. Don Williams has more or less promised me this for 2024. We’ll see…

While waiting for Encore 6, I have now tried Sonic 6 several times. There is a lot recognizable from Encore. The most annoying thing is that the menus are transparent and therefore unclear to me and also tiring. That’s the reason I’m not continuing with Sonic 6. I hope Encore 6 will have a “normal” menu structure. Does anyone know if the transparency in the Sonic 6 menus can change? Thank you

What do you mean by “Sonic 6”? I can’t find a program with this name.
Or do you mean Overture from Sonic Scores? This is not (yet) available in version 6.
