When I upgraded my computer to Windows in 1994, I bought a Windows 3.0mm system disk that had a demo version of Trax. I loved it so much I ran out and bought a full version copy on floppy, which took me throough Windows 3.0, 3.1, 98, & several XP systems. I never really fully utilized all its features; the basics (recording, editing, notation) fulfilled all my needs. The most advanced feature I used extensively was setting the “Articulation” feature to 93% under Piano Roll for the most natural sound on most instruments. Most of my files were saved as .mtp files.
When I started to switch to Windows 7 Trax would only run in XP mode (and not at all under Windows 10 later), so I purchased the MTPro upgrade from GVOX. A few years back, my home was wrecked, flooded out from broken pipes, and I lost almost everything, including the all documentation, installation media, & backups for all my software; I had to reconstruct my computer system, but it still had the MTPro installed. A year later, the main disk blew out & took the motherboard with it. I’ve had to replace the system, but have not been able to recover the MTPro software. I’ve found a couple Windows 95 packages online, but those won’t run under Windows 10. I don’t know what to do short of using AI to build a Frankenstein copy of Trax/MTPro.
Can anyone here help me?
