Hello everyone:
…I’ve posted the same question above MANY TIMES in several years but – CONTRARY to promises in the past, to this date we-the-loyal users (Sequencers) of Master Tracks PRO can NOT get any answer as to WHEN or HOW an Update OR – even the latest latest FULL VERSION would be possible to acquire:
– I own & I’m using the DEMO-Version for all these years but need now a replacement of my present DEMO-Version which short time ago stopped working (no sound!) and – I can’t figure out how to repair it …!An updated info from anyone would be greatly appreciated with Email address how to get at least a replacement of the broken DEMO-Version – THANKS (!) …Tony H.
June 14, 2026 at 12:29 pm #5151From the beginning it was said that an upgrade of MTP would only come some time AFTER the Encore upgrade. But this one isn’t ready yet.
I have a FULL installation file of MTP 684 for Windows, send me a mail so that I can send you a download link.
As of the future, I understood that the upgrade of MTP would be dropped, since the functionality is present in Overture. I hope there will be something to import .mtp files.

June 19, 2026 at 12:35 pm #5159My understanding is that Don has the desire to release an updated version of MTP. I did not hear that plan was “dropped” because there is some MTP functionality in Encore, I think there was someone in the forum suggesting that using the sequencer function in Encore could be a workaround. I can’t believe that all the greatness and elegantly designed interface of MTP could be embedded in Encore… but maybe I am wrong.

June 20, 2026 at 1:11 am #5161Right! Overture. My mistake there, but the interface and functionality of the midi sequencer in Overture, in my opinion, is more similar to many other DAW programs than to Master Tracks; it resembles MTP very little… Master Tracks is just by far the most intuitive and elegantly designed Midi sequencer I have ever seen: just enough complexity of tools, and yet simple and intuitive in design, not overdone. Really hope he can release a very similar version to the original MTP, AND with all the vintage device files. Korg M1, X5DR, etc.
