      When will SUPPORT be available?
      I have Encore 5.0.4, and can no longer Print To PDF.
      I cannot send my music out.
      PLEASE ADVISE

        Hello Roger,
        I guess that a SUPPORT function on this site will be available the day Encore 6 is made available; and will probably never handle Encore 5 issues.

        Forum users might help, of course.
        – are you printing to PDF using “Microsoft Print to PDF”, or an external program such as PDF Creator?
        – can you print on paper?
        – are you still able to save your score? or are you prompted to enter your license key?
        – is this for all (many) scores, or just for one (in that case, please send me the file)
        – else, what are the detailed symptoms of “I can no longer print”?

          Did you upgrade your computer operating system? If not, don’t. If so, it’s probably too late, but see if you can reinstall an older OS. Meanwhile, this is why we need a v6 that works on the latest systems so we can all finally throw our otherwise obsolete computers away.

            Mr. GrossMusic, this is Mac-type reasoning.

            Roger is running 504, which is a Windows version. Many versions of Windows have been issued since Encore 504 came out. It is not customary that Windows application need to be adapted to new Operating System versions, and Encore 5 runs on Windows 11 without new trouble, including an big update that I got installed this moring, and including in particular the “Microsoft print to pdf” functionality.

            Yes, we need upgrades for Encore, but that’s to maintain/improve Encore functioning. Not to let it run on new Windows level, since Windows generally ensures an excellent compatibility with earlier levels.

            Roger hasn’t reacted to my offer for assistance.

              There is NO mention of Windows. How would I know that?

                Sorry. Unfortunately, there is no gender-independent predicate… but should I have known?

                I feel it so “gross” to address somebody by only a nickname which does not sound as a first name. This is not a pun, Ms. Gross.

                Indeed, it is not clearly stated in Roger’s initial question, nor in my own first answer, that the considered issue is in Windows, this can only be derived by the context (essentially that 504 is for Windows, 505/5067 for Mac), and not everybody is aware of that subtlety.
