Hate to moan but encore company has never been that reliable despite loving the program. So excited to hear it was coming back but as usual, no show! Never mind. By the way it’s past winter now….

In the northern hemisphere, winter may still last for 5 or 6 weeks, you know…

In Europe, spring starts on March 21. That’s about a week before Easter.

Is the question “When are they release the product?” or is it “When are they going to change the date in front of the index page?” 😉

The questions are “Are they ever going to release the product?” and “Are we being played?”

I am as eager as everyone to get a modern version of Encore. I have used this notation program exclusively since 1992.
However questions like “Are we being played?” are not helpful, just stupid.

Well, if the release date has changed from Fall to Winter, I take it as a sign that Don is working on getting it released, and it should be soon. If you weren’t working on it at all, why change the date??

If you are needing something now – at this juncture is 2+ years delayed from “declaration”, the very best advice is to move on. Keep in mind the fuel of interest here is based on a gross assumption that if/when it is released it will be hitting the ground running. It will not. There will be any number of issues with function/GUI/interface/OS compatibility to be worked out – so you’re most likely still going to have a wait.
