Hi everybody!
I found this site and the news about the new Encore release completely by chance.
As an old Encore user, I was wondering why email addresses were no longer found in the Passport system,
and that’s why I couldn’t log in without re-registering even on this site.
Will old Encore users automatically receive information about the new version 6 release and will there be an update price for it,
or will the entire software have to be purchased again – I have hundreds of Mac Encore files in stock?March 23, 2025 at 9:49 am #4042You should read the “About Us” page of the site. You’ll understand that the future Encore 6 will be kind of built from scratch, nearly nothing having been transferred from the previous owners of the brand. We’re all hoping for a release of Encore 6, but only Don Williams knows when that will be (if he does). As to the price, well, we’ll see…
Keep your fingers crossed!March 23, 2025 at 1:43 pm #4048I’m sorry… my English is so poor, so the long texts is hard to read – I used always the Google Translator.
But now I’ll read it, tnx..!March 28, 2025 at 4:57 am #4113Sorry guys I’ll write in another language because I see a countrymate here… I wrote about MTS files created by Trax software and how to convert them to MIDI files.

Do you have a working Encore software yourself?
I have a problem with old files made with Passport software. A long time ago I used a cheap version of Passport called Trax. It is the poor man’s version of Master Tracks Pro. Trax saved files both as MIDI and in its own MTS format. Now I have a bunch of MTS files that I would like to go through. I have also been asking for help here in the Forum. No music software reads MTS files and I can’t find any converters anywhere.
It seems you can’t send private messages here.

March 28, 2025 at 5:53 am #4114As far as I can see, Encore can read MTS files (as generated by MasterTracks, there could be other usages of this extension).
You could send me one to make a test.April 2, 2025 at 11:39 am #4132Moro!
Yes, I have a working Encore 5 on both Mac (Mac OS 10.13.7) and Windows 10.
