I obtained a new laptop without CD rom station. I have tried to install my Encore version 5.0.2 through a plugin CD rom station. It seema Windows 11 does not allow that. Can I download my version somewhere and then input the serial number or are there other options? Please advise
The last known Encore version for Windows is 5.0.4.875. This version should also work with Windows 10 or Windows 11.
I think that Win11 does not work with version 5.0.2.
I don’t have a solution at the moment. The new Encore 6 should be released before winter.Passport Music is not taking upgrades to version 5.x nor are they offering any support. If you Google Encore 5.0.4 for Windows, you may find an old download link. See if that will accept your license.
There’s a note on the home page: “At this time there are no products being sold or none to be downloaded. This will only occur when Encore 6 is released.”

Are there any beta testers who can give us a glimmer?I have Encore 5.0.2 but even with a disc, I can’t get it to load on Windows 11. This is pretty much a disaster for me. If there is anyway round that, please let me know or it’s back to manuscript paper for me and no access to the hundreds of files on Encore. I can see them on a demo version I found but without the save and print option, they are useless.

I think he has an installer for Encore 5.0.2. He can send you a link where you can download the installer. Then you won’t need a floppy disk drive.
He also got the installation file for Encore 5.0.4 from me.
