      @Mario2: Sorry 🙂

      @Andre: Searching around for a way to open my files, I found that there is this Trax software, a “light” version of Master Tracks Pro. I downloaded an old, working version and I tried —but it didn’t read my files. I’ll send you one of the files by email, thanks a lot!

        Hi Everybody,
        I’m new to this forum. I have some very old music files made with Master Tracks which I’m desperately trying to convert to MIDI; I’ve tried to open them using Master Track 3 on Atari but it didn’t work. I made them in 1996; they have no extension but their header is SCO5 so I guess I used MTS 5 on a Mac at that time (I’ve never used Windows). I found online a disk image of MTS 5 for Mac but apparently it is corrupted. I also made some attempts with Trax on Mac, no chance. Eventually I found this forum and asked Mike2, who could not read them neither with MTS 6.0.1, nor with MTS 6.8.4, nor with Encore 5.0.4.875 (all Windows versions). It may be that the file coding is not exactly the same between Windows and Mac. Is there anybody who has a working version of MTS 5 (or maybe MTS 6) on a Mac and can help me in this matter?

        Thanks in advance,
        Stefano
