when Don deems the trial version stable… computers can be more unpredictable than an Am7(5b) 😉

Happy new year 2025 for all of us.

January 8, 2025 at 2:45 am #3816I am the guy who created the Encore tutorials on YouTube. I am looking forward to seeing the next version of Encore. Anyone want new tutorials?
January 8, 2025 at 4:27 am #3817I don’t know, personally I’m not fond of video tutorials.
The priority should be on a reference manual, and a starter’s user’s guide.January 8, 2025 at 7:21 am #3818Once upon a time…
I can even remember that there was a handy manual and a shortcut chart with all commands.
January 11, 2025 at 3:25 pm #3828Long time Encore fan. Looking forward to the new version!!!!!
January 13, 2025 at 8:06 am #3830The complete list of Encore keyboard shortcuts is located at http://www.royalcourtbrass.com/encore/shortcuts.pdf
January 13, 2025 at 12:33 pm #3831I am looking forward to the new Encore. I have been using both Encore and Finale for many years and am now attempting to learn Dorico, which has a serious learning curve. At 76 years old, I am not enthusiastic about becoming fluent in another notation program. I wonder if the new Encore can include rhythmic notation in tablature, which would be a great addition.

I’d love new tutorials, Bryce!
FYI, here is my much less impressive shortcut list/visual aid for Mac users:

January 15, 2025 at 8:17 pm #3841Dear Mr. Williams,
I have been an Encore Music Software Version user starting with 3.0 in 1993, updated to 5.0.6 circa 2019-20. The software has served me very well. However, due to the need to update my computer’s operating system software, can you please send the 6.0 version information when and as soon as it’s available.Thank you,
A. Charles -
