Adriaan DropsieParticipant
The same for me – from floppy-time till discontinued I used Encore, still have the 5-version on my old G5 (working).
Can’t wait and hope that I can use my old Encore skills on the new V6!
Please keep us informed, Don, and best wishes for X-mas and of course a happy New Encore!

Adriaan DropsieParticipantGreat to hear! I hope it’s still as intuitive as the old Encore with new funcionalities and without the bugs.
Good luck with the development! Can’t wait to try it out. Will it be possible
to read/write the old Encore files as well?
Thanks you very much.Adriaan DropsieParticipantGreat! Will there be a discount for old users who toke the time and remained their believe in Encore 6?
At this moment I’m testing Dorico but still use the old Encore, intuitive and ahead for his time. Invisible frames, just drag and drop, full of bugs but who cares when your working with a program for decades…Adriaan DropsieParticipantI’ve send two mails to Sonic Scores, but I didn’t get an answer yet.
Maybe it will help if we all send a mail to Sonic Scores to put them at work!Adriaan DropsieParticipantWhen you make an extract part, leave the option compressed rests out. You get your extract part with all the rests. Then make the compressed rests manually, start at the end of the piece. When it doesn’t work, make a new file with the desired amount of compressed rests. Then, copy and paste it in your extract part and delete whatever you want to leave out. This is the recipe for good compressed rests. It took me some time, but I can make it perfect now, without imperfections.
What was your solution?Still hope that there is a version 6 coming….. In The Netherlands, the winter is over, spring has started….
