@Admin, I hope our dear ENCORE Software will also have this functionality.

The administrator promised us on October 30, 2024, that the new version would be released by the end of 2024, but today it’s March 22, 2025, and nothing is visible yet. I hope the administrator will give us a taste of the first beta version by the end of next month.
What I would like to say, is that ENCORE is the best MIDI editor of all music notation software. I’ve tried several programs such as Finale, Forte, Sibelius, Musescore, Dorico, Capella notation software, and many others. They are not easy to use at all.
ENCORE is the simplest, ENCORE is the best.
With its very simple environment and flexible use, I have been using this software since 1999 until today.
The selection methods are fantastic, and I hope this won’t change in Version 6.
Everything has been possible with Encore since its creation. You can even create studio sounds with it.
I mainly use it to create notated music books. I’m currently using version 4.5, which still works.
I am Togolese and we speak French in our country.
          Sorry for my poor English.
          Thanks

I just ran a successful experiment. To copy lyrics from one staff to another.
Select the lyrics you want to copy, press Ctrl+C on PC (or Cmd+C on a Mac). Then choose a voice that doesn’t contain any information (voice 5, for example), and click the first measure of the staff where you want to paste them and press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V).

We are really looking forward to the release of Encore this winter and we hope that this year 2025 will not fail us again. Our works are not yet published, and we are still waiting for the software to come to do the job.
Happy new year 2025 for all of us.
              Thanks

I am looking forward to this new version of ENCORE 6 in order to improve my old scores in traditional African rhythm.
                  Thanks Don Williams

I want to thank you Mr. Mike Halloran for your help on this forum. Encore is truly the ideal software for creating professional musical scores.
It is a software that I’ve been using since 1998 to create Music Notation Books, and I find it easier to use. I have tried PreSonus Notion, Finale, Sibelius, Forte, Dorico, Capella as well as other Midi editors, but Encore is still better despite its age and its lack of tools compared to modern music notation software.

Encore is extremely easy and very flexible to use. Everything can be moved with the mouse in its workflow.
I use it to create notated music books until now. I’m working with Encore V4.5 on two computers.

One on Windows 10 professional with 12 GB of Ram and the other on Windows XP with 2 GB of Ram.
My observation is that with Windows XP, Encore V4.5 is stable, does not crash and everything is good to use compared to advanced operating systems.

Encore’s workflow is comparable to real paper. The selection methods are impeccable.
Encore is one of a kind.
I can print my musical scores as a PDF file and all this serves me well at the moment.
The printing on paper is also very pretty compared to other midi editors.
But Encore V6 will be welcome.
