You can create the device files yourself using Windows Editor. The device table should be included with the MIDI modules if they generate sounds.
The header of the device file looks like this:[DEVICE]
TITLE=Name of the module, e.g. Bank 0 Korg i3
ABBREVIATION=Bank, e.g. B0
BANK=0
ROLAND=0
0=NONE
1=Piano
2=Brite Piano
3=Hammer Piano and so on up to 127Important: The finished file must be saved with the extension .ini!
You can also open and view other device files in the “Devices” folder as a reference with the Windows Editor.In the Choose Instrument window there is a button labeled “Device Operations”. If you click on it, you can edit the device files. Here you can load the created file using the “Load Device File” command. It now appears in the device file list and can be used.

It goes to show you never can tell.I can’t seem to get the device files to load.
You can load the device files by clicking on the “Device Operations…” button in the “Choose Instrument” window and then on the “Load Device File” button. Now you can select the “Devices” folder under the ‘Programs’ / “Master Tracks Pro” folder and select and load the required device file there.

What format do you want to convert the files to? As I understand you, you want the MTS files converted to MIDI right?
If I am wrong, please specify the desired format.
If “only” the conversion is required, I can do that. Even without financial compensation. However, if there are editing tasks involved, I would ask for a small fee.

This site is trustworthy. I bought my Encore 5 there in April 2014.
But as Andre has already noted, it is somehow semi-legal. It is possible that the company “Kaiser-Kaplaner”, owner of musica.at, still has remaining licenses from GVOX which are now to be sold off.
You can check under “Important Info…” to contact the company and ask. I only see the PayPal option for ordering the software.You can see screenshots of Encore 6 under the “Development” tab. At least the Encore logo can be seen in the top left corner. Apparently the first results of the new software are already available. A lot has changed.
I can understand your frustration very well, but I can’t do anything about the current situation. Don’s communication leaves a lot to be desired, I agree, but that’s no reason to discredit Don.
I for one am used to waiting and stalling during the GVOX phase. An update was also promised here, but I don’t think that was ever planned.
Under GVOX, however, Encore was available to buy at a crossgrade price, which I did in 2014.I’ve been using MusicTime and Master Tracks Pro since 1995. I’m still using Master Tracks Pro and Don promised to update MTP too.
MusicTime was replaced by Encore and I can currently work properly with it under Win10
As you can see, I have remained loyal to Passport for 30 years.The only thing that could happen if Encore 6 is released is that we will all be disappointed by the new Encore because it is no longer the “old” one…
