Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Welcome back!
Thanks Andre. I’ve send the link to Luciano too.
I’ve read your post too late.April 26, 2026 at 3:00 am in reply to: How to convert MTS files created by Trax software to standard MIDI files? #5095Andre, I remember that a friend of mine had it on his PC back then. If I’m not mistaken, it looked a bit like the Apple operating system and was incredibly flexible by the standards of the time. I never installed it myself, though. I bought MusicTime 2.0 in the early ’90s and had it installed on Windows 95.

I still have some old computers running Win3.11, Win95, Win98, Win2000, and XP. On the Win3.11 machine, for example, I still have the old Midiscan sheet music recognition software from Musitek. It runs flawlessly only on Win3.11 and with limitations on Win95.
I still have the installation routines for all of these operating systems. I also still have an unopened copy of the OS/2 operating system. That’s a good point, Antonia, but as I understand it from Doug, the score is displayed on the screen (otherwise he wouldn’t be able to take screenshots).
It’s just that nothing shows up on the printout. If the Anastasia font were missing, nothing legible would appear on the screen either.
But you’re absolutely right that reinstalling MTD might help here.Quick question, Doug: What operating system are you using?
But can other programs print? Have you made any changes to your system recently—like printer drivers or anything like that?
I’ve been working with MTD myself for years, but I’ve never encountered a problem like this before.Hi Toni,
I just went through that. It works perfectly for me. I marked the measures where the tempo change should occur and then selected “changed smoothly from to” under “Tempo.” The tempo slowdown is present in both Encore and the exported MIDI file. Thanks, Karl, for the update.
So it turns out you can still buy the old Encore 5 license on musica.at after all. Even though it took four tries to register it.
That’s good news for everyone who doesn’t have Encore yet and is waiting for the new Encore 6.The latest version of the “old” Encore is 5.0.4.875 for the Windows platform.
However, this version is no longer officially available for purchase. You may still be able to get a copy from this vendor: https://www.musica.at/software/sequenz/encore.htmIf you already have a license key, you can also send me an email at hofmann.mario(at)arcor.de, and I’ll send you a download link for the Encore Windows Installer.
Or you can contact Andre Baeck at andre.baeck(at)gmail.com.I totally agree!
Don, please at least finish MasterTracksPro.
You once told me that it’s your favorite program and holds a lot of sentimental value for you.I totally agree!

I think he has an installer for Encore 5.0.2. He can send you a link where you can download the installer. Then you won’t need a floppy disk drive.
He also got the installation file for Encore 5.0.4 from me.-

I think you’re right, Andre.
I thought the homepage had been updated. But the “Coming this summer” was already there last year.
