    I bought a macbook air 2011 to run encore, and it work great. It was about $70 on ebay. I am a mac nerd, so i can update the battery and make the OS work.

    The PC is another route, and works fine on Win10.

    I love Encore and will remain, even if I have to use old computers until I die! I believe George RR Martin uses a old version of some word processor till this day, and he has old computers as backups.

    I wanted to buy Encore software rights and hire programmers to make it shareware. However, it was already purchased.
    I’m not a programmer, but converting a program from 32 bit to 64 bit I’m sure can be done relatively quickly. We would love new bells and whistles, but if we could just get the program to work on a current Mac, that would be great.

    Just buy a 2011 Macbook Air for $80 on Ebay and install Encore, that is what I am doing,
    It runs great on that computer.
