I dreamed a dream where I opened my iMac, went to Passport site and – tchan tchan tchan tchannnnn – there was the version 6 of Encore, ready to download.
Then I woke up and, what a deception. I needed to work in my old iMac OS X 10.9.5, proc 2,5GHz Intel Core i5Mem 8GB 1333MHz DDR3
I have 2 iMacs, side by side The old one is only for editing sheet music, and the other one to everything else.

Hello everybody. Its good to read your advices. I use Encore since the eights, and I’m anxious for the version 6.
I bought a new iMac with M1 and my Encore doesn’t work on it. So I bought an old iMac where it works. I’m in front of 2 iMacs for many years.
Passport would Bernardo embarrassed for that advice saying “Available Winter 2023”

Passport need to give us an explanationSince 2021 I’m waiting for Encore 6. I bought an Mac M1 and, what a big surprise, my Encore 5 didn’t work. The old Encore doesn’t work with Mac M1. Tired of waiting for Encore 6, I bought an old iMac to put the old Encore to run. Now I have 2 iMacs, side to side. One of them for run Encore 5 (exclusively). The other to run the other things. I swear, I’ll wait till the end of 2024 winter (here Summer). I’m in Brazil, the down side of the earth.
I already know people that gave up. That guy is studing Sibelius, that is the best music editor in the market.
I think I’m gonna study too. It looks like you’ll never a new version of Encore. After knowing a lot of Sibelius, I think I’ll nrvrt come back to Encore anymore…
