Yes Mike! I’m living with the same expectations, terrified with the idea my Mac mini would need to be replaced with a brand new machine, taking me away from Mojave and Encore. Well, I keep my fingers crossed… 😉
For what it’s worth: I could read in another forum that @Notes_Norton personally met M. Don Williams (some time ago) and was told that the step was higher than expected and so it would take more time to get the works done…

Encore 5 being a 32 bits application, it won’t run in any recent version of macOS. Mojave (macOS 10.14.6) being the latest possible option (Encore being the reason why I’m still using Mojave!) Encore 6 should run on a Mac running Ventura, I suppose, but we’re still hoping to see it come to live. 😉
Well the “late Fall” deadline is only ten days ahead, now. Let’s hope it won’t be delayed! 😉
I’ve been a beta tester too, and participated to the French localization. I’d be happy to do it again if needed…
Well, Fall stretches out to December 20th, which is nearly two months away. “Late Fall” is still to come, I guess (and hope it won’t be re-scheduled !) 😉

I paid 87 euros in March 2008 for the Encore 5.0 Upgrade (and $129 in 2003 for the 4.5 upgrade). I wouldn’t find it outrageous if I were to pay the full price 14 years later.
Overture 5 Crossgrade being charged $129 I’ll hope the price will be set somewhere between $129 and $249.
