The Master Tracks Pro software version 6.0 is offered on the ebay platform from time to time.

I got the music recognition software MIDISCAN from Musitek on ebay for very little money.Which version of MasterTracksPro are you using as a demo?
Is it perhaps version 6.8.4 for Windows? With this version I sometimes have the problem that the assigned instruments are not played back and ALL tracks play piano sound.
I can solve this by clicking on the instrument in the relevant track and it plays correctly again. I then have to do this for ALL tracks. Unfortunately, I can’t say how to solve this definitively.
I am currently still working with version 6.0.1 which I bought at the beginning of the 90s. This version runs without problems but only up to Windows 98.You can convert the number 3 above un-beamed notes, even with different values, to a number 3 in a broken beam using the “Triplets beam group” located in the toolbar.
Sinds de tijd van GVOX hoor ik de belofte van een nieuwe versie of op zijn minst een update. Dus ik was achterdochtig toen Don aankondigde dat Encore zou worden voortgezet en dat er een nieuwe versie zou komen.
Maar aangezien Don de vader is van Encore, MusikTime en MasterTracks, had ik er wel vertrouwen in dat het deze keer werkelijkheid zou worden.
Don’s aankondigingen in januari 2025 waren ook begrijpelijk en heel geloofwaardig.
Maar het feit dat we de laatste tijd niets meer van hem hebben gehoord, maakt me een beetje bezorgd dat hij misschien niet meer zo gezond is. Dat zou een mogelijke verklaring zijn voor het gebrek aan communicatie.
Maar ik hoop dat Don het goed maakt en het zo druk heeft met het maken van de software dat hij geen tijd heeft om het hier te communiceren. Hoop doet leven!
Anders volg ik de communicatie op dit forum bijna dagelijks in de hoop op het “verlossende” nieuws 😉
Ik had al in de “FAKE”-draad geschreven dat de huidige Encore-versie 5.x.x voldoende is voor mijn behoeften en dat andere muzieksoftware voor mij te overladen en te ingewikkeld is (ik heb er een paar geprobeerd). In dit opzicht kan ik, in tegenstelling tot veel andere gebruikers hier, leven met de huidige Encore. Maar ik zou de nieuwe versie ook verwelkomen en kopen. Al was het maar vanwege het betere XML-filter.
Naar mijn mening is er echter nog hoop zolang deze website bestaat.I have been hearing the promise of a new version or at least an update since GVOX times. Accordingly, I was suspicious when Don announced that he would continue Encore and create a new version.

I had already written in the “FAKE” thread that the current Encore version 5.x.x is sufficient for my needs and that any other sheet music software is too overloaded and too complicated for me (I had tried a few). In this respect, unlike many other users here, I can live with the current Encore. But I would also welcome and buy the new version. If only because of the better XML filter.

This is also my birthday! What a coincidence.
I have installed my Encore 5.0.4.875 from Win7 to Win10 and it works flawlessly. I used the installer I purchased at the time and the corresponding unlock code.
A Win11 error code might help.
