Antonia, I also hope that you are wrong.

The anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach’s birth is getting closer.

This is also my birthday! What a coincidence.

            Justified question.
I hope so. Encore 5 could or can.

I have installed my Encore 5.0.4.875 from Win7 to Win10 and it works flawlessly. I used the installer I purchased at the time and the corresponding unlock code.
A Win11 error code might help.

Do you have an activation key for MTP?
If so, I can send you an installation link for version 6.01.

Version 6.8.4 is the latest version of Master Tracks Pro. The “most stable” is 6.0.1.
If thorsak need an MTP installation file (version 6.01), please send me an e-mail at: hofmann(dot)mario(at)arcor(dot)de

Don wrote to me last year that MTP should be ready in 2025 and that it was a special concern of his.

So far, everything is waiting for the new Encore. Let’s see if there’s enough time for MTP this year.

In the meantime, I’m still using version 6.01 to create and arrange MIDI files. But now I have an i-Pad with the Songbook+ software that plays my MIDI files for “live” use. It works great and I no longer have to take my old Win98 computer with me.

In Europe, the calendar winter ends on March 20.

                        Thank you for your feedback.
It’s great that it’s now working again until version 6 is finally available.

As far as I know, the serial number was sent by e-mail at the time of purchase. I had printed out this e-mail at the time and archived it for such cases.

I don’t know exactly where the key is stored in the registry, but just search the registry for “Encore”, as Andre advised.
Unlocking still works in any case. I had to set up a new Windows 10 about 3 weeks ago because the hard disk on my existing one had read errors and I could no longer create an image.
The registration after reinstalling Encore 5 worked perfectly.
                          Good luck!

The glowing Christmas tree stands for an illuminated Encore in the midst of a gloomy sheet of music software.
This is my Metaffa. The music goes with it too.

Andre, I have to correct myself. You are right, .mts are MasterTracksPro files. Since I also work with Master Tracks, I must have made a “Freudian” slip.
Of course the extension for MusicTime is .mus.

Over the last 3 weeks I have had a few small Christmas parties that I was allowed to accompany as a solo artist. All the parties were quite successful and there was even dancing.
In the meantime, I’ve transferred the MIDI files I created and arranged in Master Tracks Pro to an iPad and then play them back to my lyrics using the Songbook+ software.
This works great and I can leave my Win98 laptop at home. But Master Tracks Pro is indispensable for editing and creating. I just love it!

                                  Thank you Don!
Take your time and do it right.
That’s more important than a hasty Encore 6 that leaves users disillusioned rather than delighted.
