I agree with you. I too use MTP version 6.01 on an outdated Win98 computer with a Pentium III processor. MTP runs stable and error-free here. I later bought version 6.8.4, but was not satisfied with it. Although this version runs on 32bit systems, it does not function in such a way that it can be used live. So I still use version 6.01 for my live performance.
I also hope that the developers of the new version of MTP will focus on ease of use and include LSB/MSB functionality.Spero proprio di no. Credo che Encore sia ormai più di un semplice software. I don’t know exactly how it is with other users but I also like to use the “Song” option in MTP. Here you can load several songs in a list and play them one after the other. The song lists can be saved and recalled at any time.

I think I got something mixed up there. That may be because I haven’t worked with the VST Player yet.The way I see it, Encore 5.0.4 comes with a VST player.
During the initial installation, as far as I know, the VST Player folder is named “GVOX VST Player”. This must then be renamed to “VST Player”.
Now, when the VST Player is called, a window appears in which you can set/change various parameters via the setup function.

As far as I know, the directory with the VST player must be under the Encore directory and the folder must be called “VST Player”. In exactly the same notation.
Then click on Program name in the Staff Sheet. Now the “Staff MIDI device and instrument settings” window appears. Click on “Open VST player” here.
You can also reach the VST player under the tab “Score” and “Open VST player”. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut “Alt+V”.

I think it’s a good offer that Don is making us by holding out the prospect of a new Encore version. He and his company are under no obligation to us.
So we have no other choice but to wait for a new version of Encore and MasterTracks.
I also see insults out of annoyance because of the not kept release as out of place hereI’m lucky to have Encore for Windows. At least it works under Windows7 to some extent. In the meantime I already have a whole computer park with the most different operating systems to be able to use my “old” music software further. 🙂
